Earth said WAGMI?

More quakes, lighter bags.

MW5 reads one number: how many magnitude 5+ earthquakes the planet had in the last 30 days. When the Earth shakes more, holders' balances burn. When it calms down, new MW5 are minted straight into their wallets.

Fifty years of a restless planet 30-day M5+ count MW5 multiplier

USGS catalog since 1973, rescaled to the feed value of today, peak of every 15 days. The 2004 Sumatra and 2011 Tōhoku swarms hit the cap of 400. A simulation, not a promise.

Tokenomics & simulator

Move the Earth, watch your bag.

Enter how many MW5 you hold and change the earthquake count. The simulator shows how many coins you gain (mint) or lose (burn) on the next update, and what they are worth at the price set by the team.

Balances follow e−(Q² − 189²) / 330², with Q capped at 400. Moving from one count to another multiplies your coins by the ratio of the two curve values. On a mint you receive 99.3% of it; on a burn you lose the burn plus 0.7%. The price is assumed not to move, so the dollar value changes only with your coin count. A change of more than 150 earthquakes is applied over several updates. An estimate, not financial advice.

Two shares. Nothing for the team.

At launch the contract replays a "historical burn": from zero earthquakes to the real value of the feed on launch day. With 189 quakes that burn is 27.96% of the supply. Those coins are not destroyed: they go to the community, as airdrops and a faucet.

Liquidity pools

5,042,457,791 MW5

80% in a Uniswap-style V2 pool, 20% in a V3 pool. LP tokens and the V3 position go to the dead address: the liquidity is locked forever.

Airdrop & faucet

1,957,542,209 MW5

The coins the historical burn would have destroyed. The wallet is excluded from burn and mint, so the community share stays whole until it is given out.

Launch day decides

25% – 35%

The share depends on the feed value on launch day. The contract refuses to deploy if the community share falls outside 25–35%.

How it works

From the seismometer to your wallet.

  1. 01

    Three catalogs count

USGS, EMSC and GEOFON each count the magnitude 5+ earthquakes of the last 30 days. Every Opsikom node takes the median of the three.

  2. 02

    The oracle publishes

Independent nodes sign the value. The Opsikom contract checks the quorum and publishes the median of the nodes, every 3 days.

  3. 03

    Anyone calls update()

Whoever calls update() on MW5 applies the new value and earns a bounty: 0.1% of the coins burned or minted, with no cap.

  4. 04

    Wallets breathe

Every holder's balance is multiplied by the same factor. More quakes: burn. Fewer quakes: mint. Even a change of one earthquake counts.

Only holders move. The liquidity pools (V2 and V3) and the airdrop & faucet wallet are excluded: their balances never burn or mint. The price stays the one of the pools, so the value of a wallet really goes up and down with the Earth.
Fees

0.7%, and all of it goes to liquidity.

There is no team wallet and no tax for anybody. Every fee is collected by the contract and added to the V2 pool, with the LP tokens burned.

Why sells are free. A pool expects to receive exactly the amount it is sold. A fee on sells would make V2 swaps fail and V3 refuse the payment: MW5 could not be sold at all.
